Missy Salmons

Missy Salmons

Assistant Office Manager

Missy started working with East Carolina Brace & Limb Co., Inc., in August of 2001. Initially, she was the appointment secretary for Mike and Bill; however, as the business grew, Missy changed positions to insurance verification. She spent a great deal of time contacting insurance companies, verifying funding and getting the proper paperwork needed to ensure payment of claims. As fate would have it, Mike and Bill missed Missy's exuberant personality and her exceptional way with patients so she was moved back to reception and scheduling. Ultimately, we had to split scheduling, with Missy primarily scheduling prosthetic patients for Mike and another employee taking over scheduling orthotic patients. As time passed and Missy became more familiar with the dynamics of East Carolina Brace & Limb Co., Inc., she was moved into the position of assistant office manager, as well as Mike's personal assistant. Missy plays a vital role in the daily operations of our company and continually looks for ways to improve quality assurance among our professional staff, patient care and employees.
